Gathered at the Executive Committee in Brussels, EFFAT affiliates joined the IUF and strongly called on Perfetti van Melle to immediately stop the use of #childlabour by third party labour and services provider Rahat Corporation.
The company should:
- compensate the harm caused to child labourers
guarantee safety of all union members
end its relationship with Rahat Corporation
engage in good faith collective bargaining with the PVM
negotiate a collective bargaining
