EFFAT joined the ETUC and all affiliated organisations taking the street of the European district in Brussels on 26 April 2019.
8000 from all over the EU took the streets of the EU quarters to raise their voices and demand a fairer Europe for citizens and workers.
As the next EU elections are less than a month way, EFFAT sent a strong message to all candidate MEPs. We want a stronger Europe that protects and promotes social justice, collective bargaining and better working and living conditions. We want an Europe that invest in the future and that ensure a just transition to a low carbon and digital economy. We want a more democratic EU, that abandons austerity and it gets closer to its citizens.
We also want to call on European citizens to vote for a stronger and more social Europe and not for far-right, anti-European and nationalist parties. A stronger Europe is not the problem, it is part of the solution!
